On March 19, 2024, in Astana, our company, being a partner of Piller Power Systems in Kazakhstan, organized and held a technical workshop on the unique range of Piller equipment – dynamic uninterruptible power supply systems.

Top managers of Piller Power Systems arrived to Astana to participate in the event. Among them were:

• Mr. Daniel Bianconi, Export Sales Director;

• Mr. Frank Bruehne, Head of Service Division;

• Mr. Vladislav Rotan, Business Development Director in Central Asia.

We invited representatives of the industrial sector, oil companies, operators of mobile and IT services, as well as owners of large administrative facilities, owners of Data Processing Centers – all those who find it extremely important to provide their facilities with high-quality uninterrupted power supply.

Mr. Yevgeniy Makalkin, General Director of MEK-Astana LLP, announced several theses in his welcoming speech:

• Poor quality of power supply and lack of a roadmap to improve power supply for the next 3 to 5 years in Kazakhstan.

Further, Mr. Vladislav Rotan, Business Development Director in Central Asia, highlighted the history of Piller Power Systems and the range of dynamic uninterruptible power supply systems produced, their prospects and advantages, the possibilities of dynamic stabilization of the power grid, as well as the options for building island mode microgrids using gas-piston and gas-turbine power generators.

Mr. Frank Bruehne, Head of Service Division, presented the annual maintenance procedures and mandatory scheduled maintenance activities for dynamic systems during the ten-year operation cycle.

The final part of the workshop was devoted to discussions and numerous questions of our visitors. Each visitor had an opportunity to individually discuss the issues of DUPS application at his/her enterprise with representatives of the manufacturing plant.
