On April 09, 2024 in Astana our company organized a technical seminar on products of German companies RID GmbH и RID Batterie GmbH: diesel generators of various classes and an extensive range of battery packs.

As a speaker, the founder of RID GmbH and RID Batterie GmbH, Mr. Waldemar Rieder, attended the event.

In the first part of his presentation, Mr. Rieder elaborated on the model range of diesel generators, ranging from 8 to 2500 kVA, available in various configurations: open type, in standard enclosures, in anti-vandal enclosures (4 mm steel, absence of external bolts, intrusion sensors), in containerized form, and mounted on trailer chassis.

It was fascinating to hear firsthand how RID selects suppliers of engines and alternators, and what requirements it imposes on units and components, which are later used to assemble its diesel generators.

The reporter highlighted that RID is a project-based, non-streamlined company. It is ready to tailor a product according to customers' requirements or technical specifications, setting it apart from competitors who produce standard lines of diesel generators with a limited set of options in a conveyor belt manner.

Additionally, the report mentioned the efficiency of RID diesel generators, attributed to the utilization of high-quality components and the competent selection of engines and alternators.  The monitoring issue of basic and additional parameters of equipment operation was also considered. 

It should be noted, that solutions from RID GmbH are in higher price segment than solutions from Chinese or Turkish manufacturers. However due to the special quality selection of units and components, careful design consideration, a large number of options, European production culture and guaranteed compliance with real and declared characteristics are in demand among customers who prioritize stability, durability, the ability to work at remote sites without staff and 100% confidence that the diesel generator will enter the operating mode, take over the load and ensure guaranteed power supply to critical systems and facilities.

The basic warranty for diesel generators is 2 years. There is an option to obtain an extended factory warranty.

In the second part of the presentation, Mr. Rieder discussed the range of battery packs supplied under his own brand within the framework of RID Batterie GmbH, established by him in 2021. The extensive range of batteries can address virtually any task.
