Today, Piller Power Systems holds a unique position in the market as the only manufacturer producing both rotary (dynamic) UPS systems and static (battery) UPS systems, as well as kinetic energy storage systems, 50/60 and 400 Hz frequency converters, ground power systems for aircraft, and more.
The company and its subsidiaries employ around 1000 people worldwide, with headquarters located in Osterode, near Hanover.
Piller Power Systems is a subsidiary of Langley Holdings PLC, a diversified global British engineering and industrial group.
In 2016, the company acquired the business and assets of Active Power Inc., a specialist in flywheel-based equipment.
Piller Power Systems equipment is used in sectors where high-quality uninterruptible power supply is crucial for critical systems, including aviation, maritime, IT industry, telecommunications, finance and banking sector, industrial applications, and healthcare.
Piller Power Systems has installed over 7000 kinetic energy storage devices and more than 6000 rotary (dynamic) UPS systems up to 3000 kVA in power in over 40 countries worldwide.
The "MEK-Astana" team, in collaboration with Piller Power Systems, carried out the first supply and installation of six containerized CPM300 dynamic UPS systems with a total capacity of 1800 kW for a Data Center in Kazakhstan. More details about the first phase of the project can be found here.
In 2022, we completed the second phase of the project, increasing the total number of dynamic UPS systems to twelve. More details about the second phase of the project can be found here.
"MEK-Astana" LLP became an official partner of Piller Power Systems in 2022. Our journey towards partnership took about two years, as the company has the highest requirements for its partners and the engineering staff of partners. Information about the partnership with "MEK-Astana" LLP can be found on the Piller website here.
We have the knowledge and capabilities to design, supply, install, and provide service and technical maintenance for Piller Power Systems equipment in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.
In January 2023, a group of our colleagues from the Technical Department underwent training at the Piller factory in Osterode, Germany, and successfully passed examinations in the installation, commissioning, technical servicing, and repair of Piller CPM300 systems, solidifying the knowledge gained over 1.5 years of practical experience.
Currently, "MEK-Astana" possesses the highest technical qualifications and expertise in the Piller CPM300 equipment range throughout the post-Soviet space and Central Asian countries.
