"MЕК-Astana" started collaborating with SMA Solar Technology AG in 2013 during the design of the largest solar power plant beyond the Arctic Circle, with a capacity of 1 MW in the village of Batagay, Yakutia. Information about the project can be found here.
Since the beginning of the collaboration, "MЕК-Astana" has supplied SMA equipment to the Republic of Kazakhstan with a total capacity exceeding 3.5 MW.
